The 4^th Ward has been fortunate to have active, informed participants in city government. I look forward to being a voice for our Ward on the City Council, demonstrating a responsiveness for our residents, listening to community concerns and navigating issues through to a solution. I’ll keep you updated on city happenings and gather your input when important decisions need to be made. It is so important to have a respectful dialogue to build a consensus and reach good decisions for all.

I will use my experience to carefully review funding requests and infrastructure improvements. Elmhurst has maintained a healthy financial position for some time. We have had new developments built in the recent past and tax revenues from that growth will likely keep our revenues in balance. We need to create budgets that promote sustainable economic growth, minimize debt and prepare for future obligations. Strong intergovernmental relationships maximize how we can best serve our residents and eliminate duplication of services, saving taxpayers money.
